We all know how it makes us feel when someone is kind to us. We all have experienced the difference that it makes. But did you know that when we are kind to others tend to be healthier? The act of being kind to someone else can reduce stress, improve mood, self-esteem and happiness. Being kind can strengthen our relationships and help us to build a stronger support system. Reaching out in kindness to someone else doesn’t take a lot of time or cost anything and the opportunities are all around us. The smallest kind gesture can make a big difference. So, smile that smile, hold open that door, give that hug and offer that complement. It will make all of us just a bit better.
