Did you know that wishes have been known to make people feel better by giving them hope and strength to overcome difficulty so much so that health professionals make wishing a part of their patient’s health plan. Research indicates that wishing someone else well may boost our own well-being by having a positive effect on our own mood. Wishing someone else well reduces anxiety and increases happiness and fosters our sense of connectedness. The well wishes of others might not have a magical effect but they sure do have a psychological one.
So, find a star, think a good thought and dream a dream for all of us. Wish it forward.
